A crime has been committed on West River Road. The main suspect is a man by the name of John Poser. It was said that the victim had been walking along the Footbridge pathway when he was suddenly shot in the stomach. The suspect was described as having greyish hair, brown eyes and wore a ski jacket just like John Poser. John was asked to tell his story from the beginning. “Well,” said John, “I was just here at the path when I saw this man walking along the pathway. Suddenly, another guy came up from behind him and shot him! I was scared and ran home as fast as I could.” The policemen asked him to give a description of the murderer. “He had a dark mustache, salt and pepper hair and was wearing a black jacket.”
The policeman said, “I think this man is telling a lie.” How did he know?
