Suspects included the scientist’s nephew Phil that would benefit from the estate, Herbert the colleague that was jealous of the scientist’s achievements in chemistry, and Gail the jilted lab assistant with which the scientist had recently ended their affair. After looking around the laboratory the DCI immediately suspected Gail, Why?
